Have you ever liked a band when they weren't popular, witnessed them become super popular and “sell out”?
An easy example is Metallica, this fan favourite thrash band was everyone's BAND until they gradually started making albums that were more commercially appealing...
Culminating in their album St. Anger where the drums sounded like a garbage can.
This happens because in ways, everyone wants to be more popular.
And almost always, people shed the things that make themselves unique in order to be what they think would make them more appealing
With all due respect, fuck that.
At Raskol, we know our roots, respect our audience and love what we (collectively) are about.
And over time, we don't sell out. We do the opposite. Check out this latest design, Illuminatty, coming soon
It's gritty, hardcore and very punk. It's exactly the type of design other fitness brands would NEVER touch.
It is too in your face, too gritty. It isn't plain but rather very bold.
And above all else, it stands for something (an ode to the lifelong pursuit of the natural lifter).
IMMEDIATELY, this design excited the most hardcore Raskols, with many calling it perhaps our best design yet.
But it's kinda funny.
I didn't design it with the intention of being super popular. We made it because it spoke to us. It caused that visceral reaction deep down in our gut.
And when you reach for an authentic experience like that, it naturally (pun intended) resonates.
Our firm commitment to you is that as we continue to expand and grow, we stay even truer to our roots.
